My home was burgularized on April 30th, Wednesday, between 8:00 PM and 10:45 PM.  I live at 6001 Lincoln Avenue, the persons that committed this robbery I believe were delivery people that had been in my home earlier in the day to deliver a washer and dryer.  They stole a gun safe which contained everything I owned $30,000 cash, several diamond ring sets, approx. 15 guns, passports, savings bonds, etc. the safe was in the garage.  Then they broke into my home stole autographed baseballs, then they broke into my bedroom which was locked because I keep a gun there.  They missed the gun but they stole more jewelry and old coins and rings, my uncle's wallet containing a ATM card which they tried to use but I cancelled the card before they could charge against it.  What I am wondering is if anyone saw a truck at my house that evening.  It was a square shaped truck with a lift on it.  The safe weighted over 1,000 lbs.  A lot of cars pass my house daily and someone had to see something during those hours.  As far as the sheriff goes they finger printed but the last time I talked to  the female detective  they had not even called this delivery truck company which is out of Tracy - Best Buy sub-contracts for there deliveries I will never buy from them again.  These thugs could barely talk English and were rude to me.  Anyway I am so disappointed in our Sheriff's Department they say they have too many cases.  However, with so much stolen from me and the guns I would think they would have been more pro-active.  I am right on the corner of Lincoln and Salman.  I feel our sheriff's are a big disappointment they did not even return my telephone call last Friday and Monday this detective is off work. P.S. They did find the safe empty the next morning on someone's lawn in The Garden of The Gods area which is near Eastern and Cottage.  No one saw anyone leave it there either.
